Above is the audio from the radio broadcast. It doesn't start until around 45 seconds, and you can hear the transmission cut out at around 2 minutes and 55 seconds.

The Coast to Coast Area 51 call occurred in 1997. Art Bell, famous radio host, was taking calls from people who claimed to have worked at Area 51 in the past. The caller was very frantic and sounded very terrified. He told Mr. Bell that he had been let go from Area 51, and that the aliens people typically thought of were "extra-dimensional beings" that were going to soon cause chaos. In the middle of the call, the transmitter stopped working, and after a system restart, the station was back on the air. The call itself is very intriguing. Despite the amazing performance by the Area 51 caller, he called back a year later to let everyone know it was all a fake. Still, this "new" caller sounded a bit off, and many theorize he is not the same person. It is also strange that the station was knocked off the air, after years of reliable service. While I personally think this thing was staged, it is very creepy and fun to look back on. I would say that to this day, this is my favorite creepy incident in the world.
